Thānesar, Also known as Thaneswar or Sthaneshwar, Is a holy city located in the state of Haryana in northern India. The city is situated on the banks of the river Saraswati and is considered to be one of the seven sacred cities in Hinduism. Thānesar has a rich history and culture that dates back to ancient times. One of the most significant landmarks in Thānesar is the Kurukshetra War Memorial, Which commemorates the legendary battle between Kauravas and Pandavas mentioned in Mahabharata.
