Tokat is a city located in the northern part of Turkey, Situated on the banks of Yeşilırmak River. It is known for its rich history, Ancient architecture and breathtaking natural beauty. The city has been inhabited since prehistoric times and has been ruled by various empires throughout history including the Hittites, Persians and Romans. One of the most prominent attractions in Tokat is the Tokat Castle which dates back to the 6th century AD.
