Varāmīn is a city located in the Tehran Province of Iran, With a population of around 120, 000 people and an altitude of 1, 550 meters above sea level. The city has a rich history and cultural heritage that dates back to ancient times. During the Achaemenid Empire, Varāmīn was founded as an important center for trade and commerce. Later on, During the Parthian Empire, It became a major hub for silk production and trade. In Islamic times, Varāmīn became famous for its textiles and carpets.

One of the most notable landmarks in Varāmīn is the Jameh Mosque which features intricate tile work on its facade as well as beautiful calligraphy inside. Another important landmark is the Mausoleum of Imamzadeh Yahya which is dedicated to one of Imam Ali’s descendants. The city also boasts several historical houses that are open to visitors including Haj Ali Akbari House, Shah Abbasi Caravanserai House, Haj Mohammad Ibrahim Khan House and Qajar Museum House.
