- The Battle of Xinganxian occurred in 1649 during the Ming-Qing transition period. The battle took place between Manchu Qing dynasty forces and Ming loyalists led by Li Dingguo. Despite being outnumbered, Li’s troops managed to hold off the Qing army for several days before ultimately being defeated.
