Yakeshi is a county-level city located in the northeastern part of Inner Mongolia, China. It is situated on the southern bank of the Songhua River and covers an area of 8, 265 square kilometers. The city has a population of approximately 300, 000 people and is known for its beautiful natural scenery and unique cultural heritage. One of the main attractions in Yakeshi is the Hulunbuir Grassland, Which covers an area of over 100, 000 square kilometers. This vast expanse of grassland offers visitors a chance to experience traditional Mongolian culture such as horseback riding, Wrestling competitions, And singing performances.

The grassland also provides ample opportunities for hiking and camping. Another popular destination in Yakeshi is Wulanbutong National Forest Park. The park covers an area of 20 square kilometers and features dense forests with towering trees that are over 500 years old.
