Zhangmu Touwei, Or Zhangmu Port, Is a beautiful small town located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. It serves as an important trade route between Nepal and Tibet and has a population of around 5, 000 people. The town’s location at the base of Mount Everest makes it a popular destination for tourists who want to enjoy breathtaking views of the world’s tallest mountain. There are also many trekking routes that start from Zhangmu Touwei and lead to other nearby peaks such as Cho Oyu and Shishapangma.
