Āsela is a city situated in the Arsi Zone of Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It is located about 165 kilometers southeast of Addis Ababa, The capital city of Ethiopia. With a population of around 100, 000 people, Āsela is situated at an altitude of 2, 355 meters above sea level. One of the most striking features about Āsela is its picturesque landscape that includes rolling hills and lush forests.
