Ash Shaykh ‘Uthmān is a small town located in the southwestern part of Yemen, In the Taiz Governorate. The town is situated on a plateau at an altitude of approximately 2, 500 meters above sea level and is surrounded by mountains on all sides. Ash Shaykh ‘Uthmān has a population of around 15, 000 people and is known for its beautiful scenery and rich cultural heritage. One of the main attractions of Ash Shaykh ‘Uthmān is its historic mosque, Which dates back to the 10th century.

The mosque was built during the reign of the Sulayhid dynasty and features unique architecture that reflects both Islamic and pre-Islamic influences.
