Baojishi, Also known as Baoji City, Is a prefecture-level city in the western part of Shaanxi Province, China. The city spans 18, 175 square kilometers and has a population of over 3.7 million people. It is situated on the Wei River and is surrounded by the Qinling Mountains to the south and Loess Plateau to the north. Baojishi has a long history that dates back more than 2, 000 years.
