Danbury is a city in Connecticut, United States, Located in Fairfield County. It has a population of approximately 84, 000 people and is the seventh-largest city in the state. The city is known for its rich history and cultural diversity as well as its beautiful natural surroundings. The first European settlers arrived in Danbury during the early 18th century. The town quickly grew into an important center for commerce and manufacturing. During the American Revolution, Danbury played a significant role as a supply depot for Continental Army troops.

Unfortunately, British forces raided Danbury in 1780 and burned many of the town’s buildings to the ground.
