Dassa-Zoumé is a city located in the central region of Benin. It covers an area of approximately 1, 400 square kilometers and has a population of around 90, 000 people. The city is situated on the hills of Atacora and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Dassa-Zoumé is known for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance. It was once a major center for slave trade in West Africa during the 18th and 19th centuries. One such site is the House of Slaves, Which was used to hold slaves before they were transported to other parts of the world.
