Esmeraldas is a province situated on the northwestern coast of Ecuador, Sharing its borders with Colombia to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The region has been named after its most famous gemstone, Emerald, Which was once found in abundance here. Esmeraldas is renowned for its stunning beaches, Dense forests, Vibrant culture and Afro-Ecuadorian heritage.
