Fangchenggang is a coastal city situated in the southwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It serves as an important gateway for trade between Vietnam and China due to its location on the border. The city has a population of about 800, 000 people and covers an area of 6, 107 square kilometers. The most remarkable feature of Fangchenggang is its breathtaking natural beauty. The city boasts several scenic spots such as Beibu Gulf National Scenic Area which comprises beautiful beaches, Islands, Coral reefs and mangrove forests covering over 4, 000 hectares.

Another popular attraction is Dashiwei Tiankeng Group National Geopark which features unique geological formations like sinkholes and underground rivers. Fangchenggang’s economy primarily relies on its port facilities that are among the busiest in southern China. The port handles a vast volume of cargo including coal, Iron ore, Oil products and containers.
