Ferfer is a small town located in the Amhara region of Ethiopia, Situated about 200 kilometers north of Addis Ababa. The town is on the edge of the Ethiopian highlands and surrounded by mountain ranges that offer breathtaking views. Ferfer has a population of around 10, 000 people and is known for its traditional architecture and culture. The weekly market held every Sunday in Ferfer is one of its main attractions. People from all over the region come to buy and sell goods like livestock, Grains, Fruits, Vegetables, Textiles, And pottery.

It’s a vibrant place where locals gather to socialize while conducting business. There are several historic sites worth visiting in Ferfer as well.
