Fier is a city in southwestern Albania, Situated on the banks of the Seman River. It is the second largest city in Fier County, With a population of around 120, 000 people. The city has a rich history dating back to ancient times when it was known as Apollonia, One of Illyria’s most important cities. Today, Fier is an important industrial center and transportation hub for Albania. One of the must-see attractions in Fier is the Archaeological Park of Apollonia. This ancient Greek city was founded in 588 BC and became an important cultural and economic center during Roman times.

The park covers an area of over 137 hectares and includes ruins such as temples, Theaters, Baths, Houses and public buildings that are well-preserved even after centuries.
