Gudiyāttam is a small town situated in the Vellore district of Tamil Nadu, India. The town sits on the banks of the Palar river and has a population of approximately 70, 000 people. It is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance. One of Gudiyāttam’s primary attractions is the Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswamy Temple, Which was constructed during the Vijayanagara Empire era. The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara and draws thousands of devotees each year. Its architecture showcases an exceptional blend of Dravidian and Vijayanagara styles.

Another significant landmark in Gudiyāttam is the Gudiyattam Fort, Built by Tipu Sultan during his reign over South India. The fort served as an essential military base for Tipu Sultan’s army and played a crucial role in defending against British forces during their conquests.
