Ipetumodu is a town located in the Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria. It is situated approximately 10 kilometers north of Ile-Ife, Which is one of the largest and most historical cities in Nigeria. The town has a population of around 25, 000 people and it is predominantly inhabited by the Yoruba tribe. The name Ipetumodu means the land that pleases God. This name reflects the religious nature of the people who live there as well as their deep respect for their cultural heritage.

The town has a rich history that dates back to pre-colonial times when it was an important center for trade and commerce.
