Lianshan is a city in Liaoning Province, China. It is located in the northeastern part of the country and borders North Korea to its east. The city has a population of over 300, 000 people and covers an area of approximately 2, 500 square kilometers. The region has a rich history dating back to ancient times with evidence suggesting human habitation for over 5, 000 years. Lianshan was once an important center for trade during the Qing Dynasty due to its strategic location along the Yalu River. Mount Qianshan National Forest Park is one of Lianshan’s most notable attractions.
