Medina, Also known as Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Is a city located in the Hejazi region of Saudi Arabia. It is the second holiest city in Islam after Mecca and is often referred to as the City of the Prophet due to its association with Prophet Muhammad. The city has a population of around 1.3 million people and covers an area of approximately 589 square kilometers. One of the most significant sites in Medina is Masjid al-Nabawi, Or the Prophet’s Mosque. This mosque was built by Prophet Muhammad himself and serves as his final resting place.

The mosque has undergone numerous renovations throughout history and can now accommodate up to one million worshippers during peak times such as Ramadan.
