Qal‘at Bīshah, Also known as Bishah Castle, Is a historic fortress located in the city of Bishah in the Asir region of Saudi Arabia. The castle was built during the reign of Imam Yahya bin Al-Hussein who ruled over Yemen from 1904 to 1948. The construction of Qal‘at Bīshah began in 1930 and was completed in 1935. The castle served as a military stronghold during its early years and played a significant role in protecting the region from foreign invasions.

Its strategic location on top of a hill provided an unobstructed view of the surrounding area, Allowing defenders to detect any approaching enemy forces. In addition to its defensive capabilities, Qal‘at Bīshah also served as an administrative center for the region.
