Sultānpur Mazra is a small village located in the northern state of Haryana, India. It is situated about 10 kilometers away from the district headquarters of Gurugram and is part of the Pataudi assembly constituency. The village has a population of approximately 5, 000 people and is predominantly inhabited by Jat farmers. The name Sultānpur Mazra translates to the land belonging to Sultan. This name has its roots in the history of the village when it was ruled by Muslim rulers. The village still has remnants of this past with a few old mosques and tombs scattered around.
