Taixing is a county-level city located in the eastern part of Jiangsu Province, China. It has a population of over 1 million people and covers an area of approximately 1, 500 square kilometers. Taixing is situated on the banks of the Yangtze River and borders Nantong to its north and Taizhou to its south. The city has a rich history that dates back over 3, 000 years ago when it was first established as a small village during the Zhou Dynasty.

Throughout its history, Taixing has been known for its agricultural production and is considered one of China’s major rice-growing regions. One of the main attractions in Taixing is the Dongping National Forest Park which covers an area of over 50 square kilometers.
