  2. FC Inter Turku was established in 1990 after a merger between two local football clubs. Since then, they have become one of the top teams in Finnish football with three Finnish Cup wins and two league runner-up finishes.
  3. HC TPS (Turun Palloseura) is the ice hockey team of TPS founded in 1955 that has won nine Finnish championships so far.
  4. Åbo IFK is a multi-sport club established back in 1891 and is among the oldest sports clubs in Finland with teams competing across various disciplines like athletics, gymnastics, handball, orienteering, skiing and swimming.
  5. TuTo Hockey was created as a junior team for TPS Ice Hockey Club players who were too old for youth leagues but not yet ready for senior level play; TuTo played their first game against Kiekko-67 on October 31st ,1958 at Kupittaa Ice Hall.
