Chattogram, Which was formerly known as Chittagong, Is the second-largest city in Bangladesh and a significant port city located on the southeastern coast of the country. The city has a rich history that dates back to the 4th century BC when it was part of an ancient civilization called Samatata. Chattogram has been ruled by many empires such as Mauryan, Gupta, Pala and Mughal dynasties before becoming part of British India in 1760. Today, Chattogram is a bustling commercial hub with a population of over 6 million people.

The city’s economy is mainly driven by its seaport which handles more than 90% of Bangladesh’s international trade.   3. Brothers Union Football Club is a professional football club based in Chattogram that was established in 1977. They have won several domestic titles, including the Federation Cup and Independence Cup.
  4. Gazi Tank Cricketers is a cricket team located in Chattogram that competes regularly in various domestic tournaments such as Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League and National Cricket League.
  5. Agrani Bank Sports Club is a multi-sport club based out of Chattogram that participates mainly in cricket, hockey, volleyball, basketball, and table tennis tournaments at both national and international levels.
  6. Chittagong Vikings were formerly named as Cumilla Warriors ahead of BPL’s sixth season; they played franchise cricket for four seasons (2015-2018) before being renamed.
