Gandhidham is a city located in the Kutch district of Gujarat, India. It was established in 1950 as a refugee camp for Sindhi people who migrated from Pakistan during the partition of India. The city was named after Mahatma Gandhi, Who played a significant role in India’s independence struggle. The city is situated on the banks of the Kandla Creek and has a population of around 2 lakh people. Gandhidham is known for its industrial development and houses one of India’s largest ports, Kandla Port Trust.

It serves as an important gateway for international trade and commerce, Connecting various parts of India with other countries.
