Khomeynī Shahr is a city located in the Isfahan Province of Iran, Situated about 30 kilometers to the northwest of Isfahan. The city was named after Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Who played a significant role in the Iranian Revolution of 1979. The region has a rich history dating back to ancient times and served as an important center for Islamic learning and culture during medieval times. Its strategic location on trade routes between Central Asia and Persia made it a prosperous hub for commerce.
