Lansing is the capital city of Michigan in the United States, Located in Ingham County. It’s easily accessible from all directions due to its location at the intersection of two major highways, I-69 and I-96. The city covers an area of 36.6 square miles and has a population of over 118, 000 people. The history of Lansing dates back to its founding in 1835 by John A. Kerr and his wife Mary Louisa who named it after their hometown, Lansing in New York State. Over time, Lansing became a thriving industrial hub with manufacturing plants for automobiles and other goods.

The Michigan State Capitol Building is one of Lansing’s most significant landmarks located downtown on Capitol Avenue. Built-in 1879 , This impressive structure features a dome that reaches heights up to 267 feet tall!
