Modesto, Located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, Is a vibrant city with a population of over 200, 000 people. It is known for its rich agricultural heritage and diverse cultural scene. 9. Jimmy Yee: Jimmy Yee was an American football player who played as quarterback for Stanford University from 1954-1956 before being drafted into National Football League (NFL) where he played with San Francisco Forty Niners from (1957-1960).
10. Bob Talbert: Bob Talbert was an American journalist who won Pulitzer Prize for Commentary while working at Detroit Free Press, He also worked as editor-in-chief for two newspapers namely Oakland Press & Daily Tribune before moving to Modesto where he worked for The Modesto Bee until his death in 1999.
