Modesto, Located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, Is a vibrant city with a population of over 200, 000 people. It is known for its rich agricultural heritage and diverse cultural scene. The city boasts the largest downtown area in Stanislaus County, Which offers an array of shops, Restaurants and entertainment venues to suit all tastes and budgets. Bob Talbert: Bob Talbert was an American journalist who won Pulitzer Prize for Commentary while working at Detroit Free Press, He also worked as editor-in-chief for two newspapers namely Oakland Press & Daily Tribune before moving to Modesto where he worked for The Modesto Bee until his death in 1999.
