Sirājganj is a district in northern Bangladesh, Located on the banks of the Jamuna River. This area has a rich cultural heritage dating back to ancient times and was named after Sirajuddin Ali Khan, A famous ruler during the Mughal era. The region is known for its fertile lands and vast agricultural fields. Rice, Wheat, Jute, Sugarcane and vegetables are primary crops grown here. In addition to agriculture, Sirājganj has small-scale industries such as pottery making and weaving of cloth and cane products. Atia Mosque is one of the most significant landmarks in Sirājganj.

Built during the Mughal period in 1609 AD by Sultan Sulaiman Khan, It features an impressive architectural design with intricate carvings on its walls made from terracotta tiles.     1. The Battle of Pālāsi in 1757 took place in Sirajganj, where the British East India Company defeated Nawab Siraj-ud-Daula.
