Tengyue, Also known as Tengchong, Is a county-level city located in the southwestern part of Yunnan Province in China. It is situated at the border of Myanmar and has a population of approximately 300, 000 people. The city covers an area of 5, 815 square kilometers and is known for its scenic beauty, Rich cultural heritage and diverse ethnic groups. Tengyue has a long history dating back to the Han Dynasty when it was an important trading post along the ancient Silk Road.

The city was also a strategic location during World War II due to its proximity to Myanmar and served as a base for Chinese soldiers fighting against Japanese forces.
