Halwan is a city located in the southern part of Cairo, Egypt. It is situated on the eastern bank of the Nile River and has a rich history that dates back to ancient times. The city was once known as Heliopolis, Which means City of the Sun in Greek. It was an important religious center in ancient Egypt and was home to one of the most famous temples dedicated to the sun god Ra. Today, Halwan is known for its industrial activity and its production of cement, Textiles, And other goods.
