Heyuan is a city in the Guangdong province of China, Known as the Hometown of Dinosaurs. The area has been famous for its dinosaur fossils since the 1980s. Heyuan also has beautiful natural scenery and a rich cultural heritage. The Heyuan Dinosaur Museum is one of the most popular attractions in the city, Housing over 10, 000 dinosaur eggs and embryos. Visitors can learn about their significance to paleontology and view other sites throughout Heyuan where they can see dinosaur fossils.
